In order to minimise costs and keep subscriptions down, the club does not provide fixture lists. All details regarding the club including fixtures for all teams can be found here.

The Code of Conduct for Cricket Club Members and Guests applies to all members and the club has a very strict policy which is applied to any disciplinary cases. Click here to read it. In particular the club would advise you that foul and abusive language is not tolerated at the club, either on or off the pitch. Additionally you are expected to play cricket according to the ECB guidelines called “Spirit of Cricket”.

Information applicable to Junior (Playing) members

It is club policy that Under 18’s wear a helmet when batting or when standing up to the wicket whilst wicket keeping. This includes net sessions and training as well as matches. There are no exceptions, even with parental consent. Further restrictions regarding how close Under 18’s can field also apply – further details from your senior team captain or from your youth coach.

(see also Youth handbook Section 29 here)

Information applicable to Adult (Playing) Members

The England and Wales Cricket Board has stated that for adults over the age of 18 in recreational cricket, the wearing of head protectors by batsmen and wicket keepers continues to be strongly recommended, preferably with equipment which meets the relevant latest British Safety Standard.

Selection Policy in 2019
Selection is a difficult job for captains. Please make their life easier. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY as a player to make sure your captain knows when you are available. NEVER assume he knows. If you have been away or have been unavailable YOU should phone your captain to confirm your availability.

Wednesday Nets and Selection Night
Wednesday night will be nets night and selection night. Please try to attend nets every week during the season. All players available for weekend selection to the senior sides (including youth players) are expected to attend. Please be aware that Under 15's have their own coaching sessions and may be asked to bat after seniors on Wednesday evenings, depending on numbers.
